02 · Before you choose

Look beyond the headline.

Understand the fees

Look for joining fees, annual fees and the conditions attached to any waiver.

Read the reward rules

Check which purchases qualify, how rewards are redeemed and where caps or exclusions apply.

Keep your own priorities

Write down what you need from a card, then check the details against those needs.

03 · How it works

Explore. Ask. Check.

  1. Open the app and sign in

SwipeSage is available for Android on Google Play.

  2. Explore card details

Browse the listed fee and reward information for cards you are considering.

  3. Ask your questions

Use the Sage chat, then verify the details in the issuer’s current documents before applying.

A question to start with

What should I check before choosing a credit card?

Bring your own questions about fees, reward rules and the way you spend.

AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Check fees in the issuer’s MITC and rewards in the card’s terms and conditions.

04 · Your spending

Start with how you spend.

Use this worksheet to add up the categories below. These are spending totals, not potential savings.

Monthly spend you enter
Fuel
₹0/mo
Dining & food
₹0/mo
Groceries
₹0/mo
Online shopping
₹0/mo
Monthly total
₹0
If each month stays the same
₹0 / year

This adds only the categories shown and multiplies the monthly total by twelve. It does not calculate rewards, fees or savings, or recommend a card.

Your entries stay on this page. They are not sent to the app.

09 · Honest reviews

The catch, not just the headline rate.

We tear down popular Indian cards the way the issuer never will: what’s good, what the fine print costs you, and who it’s actually worth it for.

Today, nothing. SwipeSage is free and we have no paid partnerships. The plan is to earn a small referral fee if you choose to apply for a card through us. Even then, that fee will never buy a better ranking: banks can never pay for placement.
